Sue Mitchell, Editor
Sue is the founder/owner of Chiltern & Thames Rider magazine
which she first published in 1993. Prior to that she worked in the
computer industry having graduated from Leicester University in
1978. She started the magazine because she saw there was a need
for a local equestrian publication in the Chiltern area, her new
home after moving from Essex where she was an avid reader of Essex
Rider. Sue has owned horses since 1982 and has competed in showing,
unaffiliated showjumping and eventing.
She now rides 15 year old ex racehorse, Tell Monty, who has hunted and competed lightly in dressage and re-trained racehorse classes. She also has a brood mare, Dexter's Dehli who produced a coloured filly by Allbany in 2005. This filly called CT Rider Special Print is being shown in hand this season as a two year old.
